Entry 21 – 2026 – September – Busselton, – Western Australia.
We set up at a caravan park in the town of Busselton. It was to be a week of special family time.
This blog edition had been pre-arranged, to be influenced by two grandchildren aged 4 and 8 years.
As this was to be a secret trial blog, we thought it best to adopt secret service identifications.
From here on we will comply with protocol, using identifications of agent G, agent 4 and agent 8.
Through the eyes of Agent 4 and 8; We took two plane flights from our base station, travelling to Western Australia to investigate the activities of our Grandpa and Grandma.
When we landed our first mission was to inspect the playground our mum and dad had been playing at during their time in Western Australia 12 years prior during 2014.
After completing our inspection of the playground, deciding there was no suspicious activity, we turned our attention to the activities of Grandpa and Grandma.
We conducted some personal close up investigative assessments, travelling on the Busselton Jetty Train.
We inspected the Busselton Jetty Aquarium. It was a special experience and one of only six in the world, under sea aquariums. We travelled to the bottom of the ocean, eight metres down from the sea surface. It felt a bit like an oversized lighthouse, climbing steps positioned around the outer walls of the aquarium.
We dined out with Grandma and Grandpa at Otto’s Chocolate Factory sharing some baby chinos, deciding their drink choices to be satisfactory.
We assessed their mental health with some manipulation prowess and decided they were still reacting appropriately, respecting our requests. (Requests marked by green arrows.)
We conducted a skin pinch test on Grandpa.
There was an off-road walking skills assessment and we assessed Grandma seemed to have some finger coordination issues operating the camera remote controls.
There was more assessment of their vision capabilities with some whale spotting exercises. Regrettably, the whales put on a fabulous show distracting us, from a proper assessment of their visual capabilities.
We had learnt about the operation of lighthouses at our training headquarters, a good lookout point and providing a safe beacon for passing ships. It was nice to be able to get up close to one.
There was a special milestone for Agent G and we helped him with firefighting duties.
There were some ongoing close-up inspections of Grandpa and Grandma’s mobile accommodation. At times we thought we may have been taken advantage of.
Agent 4 achieved another milestone with a promotion to Agent 5.
It had been a fantastic week of family time.
Agent G informed us we had passed an assessment on our capabilities. It was time for us to depart, proceeding onto our next operation.
