Entry 3 Family time – Canberra 2 –
8/4/2019
On arrival at our Canberra based son’s house we weren’t
expecting anyone to be home and were busy settling our caravan and tow tug into
their front yard when we looked up to see we were being closely monitored.
Nine month old Pippa didn’t take long to reacquaint herself with
us providing plenty of granddaughter time. Penny did look after us, with a
constant supply of beautiful meals to help keep our energy levels up, a
much-needed requirement for providing an appropriate level of interaction sought
by our family’s youngest member.
As per normal for our Canberra visits, son Tim had a wish
list for Steve’s attention for home maintenance requirements with this visit’s
main focus, child proofing one’s home.
Tim did have a birthday during our stay and Pippa received
an early birthday present from us.
A birthday present for me! Wonderful, I like presents. |
We even got to watch Tim play in his first soccer match for
the season. It seems we have now been watching him play sport for around 30
years.

Family time is special time, after 6 nights it was time to
resume our retirement travels.
