Entry 6 - Summary of our Eastern Canada adventure 2017

Entry 6 – Summary of our eastern Canada adventure 2017.

After a copious amount of research, the one location that stood out as a must see on the eastern side of Canada was Niagara Falls. With high expectations, we found ourselves still in awe with our first sighting of Niagara Falls.

We thoroughly enjoyed catching up with our daughter Judith and partner Corey with the bonus of spending plenty of time with Corey’s mob, the Serran family. Put simply it was a pleasure.

Camping amid Ontario’s Provincial Parks, hiking amongst vast areas covered in greenery, the presence of thousands and thousands of lakes, a new stream of fast flowing water seemingly around the next bend all provided a deep sense of satisfaction from viewing amazing scenery so different from what we have become accustomed to in Australia. We loved our Provincial Park experiences.

Our most enjoyable parks experience, were Killarney Provincial Park and Pukaskwa National Park followed by Algonquin Provincial Park and Lake Superior Provincial Park. OK they were all great.

From our small exposure of Canada, we were already having thoughts about how nice it would be if we could allocate several years to explore Canada, naturally utilising our Australian travel rig.

In summary we thought it appropriate to provide a different picture of a vehicle not sighted in Australia we were seeing quite often parked in various driveways during our travels.
